Leaders in Training Weekend

Entering Grades 10-12 in Fall 2017

Leaders in Training Weekend is a program for teens comprised of creative workshops, targeted self-reflection, and experiential education activities designed to teach leadership, team-building, and communication skills. Come hang out with other teens with diabetes! Participation is mandatory for to apply to be a Counselor in Training during our other programs (grades 10-12).

Whole family of a child with diabetes grade 8 and younger

Camp Leo’s Family Camp in 2017 is a day-long experience filled with fun activities and diabetes education for the entire family! Moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, and anyone else you consider family is invited to come. Family Camp is a great way to connect with diabetes professionals and other families going through similar situations and obtain the resources and support needed to live an empowered and healthy life with Type 1 Diabetes.

Entering Grades 3-5 in Fall 2017

July 30- August 2, 2017

Camp Leo Elementary School Camp is designed with that specific age group in mind. With fun hands-on activities designed to ignite a a passion for the outdoors, adventure, and exploration, elementary camp helps campers meet friends and build good foundational diabetes management skills.  

 

Middle School Camp

Entering Grades 6-7 in Fall 2017

July 16-20, 2016

Middle School Camp helps campers transition to a new level of independence - and FUN! Campers spend 5 days at camp with their friends and peers, participating in daily fun diabetes education activities structured to their age group. 

Junior High School Camp

Our Junior High School Camp is designed for maximum fun, including more advance activities like zipline and overnight hikes. Campers spend 6 days at camp with their peers, participating in daily diabetes education and activities structured to their age group.  

High School Camp

Entering Grades 10-12 in Fall 2017

July 7-13, 2017

High School Camp is built for teens with diabetes, offering campers more options and choices in activities and autonomy in their diabetes management. Along with fun activities like Color Team Battle, mountain biking, and the end-of-camp party, teens have the opportunity to discuss and learn about topics like driving with diabetes and making a healthy transition to high school and college.
